Ayan Infotech are looking for an RPG Developer for a long term contract job opportunity in Melbourne or Sydney or Brisbane.

Title: RPG/ AS 400 developer
Location: Sydney or Melbourne or Brisbane
Type: Contract (6 months + possible extensions)
Required Skills and Experience:
- I90/WI90 written in RPG in RPGIII, RPGIV and RPGILE.
- Ideally 10 years of experience as RPG developer
- Experience working on RPGIII, RPGIV and RPGILE
- Financial and/or insurance knowledge.
- Experience in the I90 platform is a bonus.
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support RPG programs on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform
- Assess user requirements and translate them into detailed program specifications
- Identify and resolve application issues to maintain optimal system performance
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to create solutions aligned with business objectives
- Maintain detailed documentation for coding and processes, adhering to best practices and industry standards
