AYAN InfoTech is looking for SQL Cloud DBA to join an exciting project based in Melbourne. The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Role: SQL Cloud DBA
Location: Melbourne
Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions
Experience: 7+ Years
Must have: MySQL DB resources along with NV1 clearance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable SQL Server Architecture knowledge
- Proven ability to drive results
- SQL Server Availability Group experience, including design, build, and support
- SQL Server Mirroring, Log Shipping, and Replication including build, design, and support
- SQL Server Database Security
- Experience with SQL Server database migrations, including on-premises and to the public cloud
- SQLServer databases hosted on public clouds (Azure, AWS, Google)
- Experience with Azure SQL Server Managed Instance and SQL Database
- Experience with AWS SQL Server RDS
- Understanding of Managed Service and related products and the supporting technologies
- Understanding of core ITIL processes
- TSQL, Powershell scripting, general scripting proficiency
- System Administration skills, including storage and network
- Ability to prioritise tasks and exhibit a logical approach to problem resolution
- Experience with SQL Server Performance Tuning
- Experience with SQL Server workload optimisation
- Well-developed analytical and diagnostic skills
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- Able to operate and be available 24x7
Highly desirable
- Azure, AWS Cloud Certifications
- SQL Server Certified, SQL Server 2016 and above
- Storage systems such as NetApp and EMC
- ITIL Certification
- Networking experience (LAN, WAN)
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud solutions and APIs
- Experience working in an Agile environment
