AYAN InfoTech is looking for Power BI Lead/Developer to join an exciting project based in Sydney. The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Role: Power BI Lead/Developer
Location: Sydney
Contract Duration: 3 months with high possible extensions
Experience: 6+ Years
Primary skills- Power BI, SQL, ETL Tools, Security practices
Good to have - Experience in Data Integration, Good documentation skills.
Core Skills & Capabilities required:
- Lead Power BI Developer (L3 or higher skills) with at least 6+ years of experience in Power BI development. (Must)
- Expertise in Power Query (M Language) and DAX.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling best practices and schema design (Star/Snowflake).
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data transformations.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of BI solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills with experience in writing deployment and handover instructions.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction and requirement gathering.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration.
- Familiarity with Power BI Service administration and security best practices.
- Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for SQL.
